Crafting Update - Now in game!

The major Crafting Update has landed on Warface servers bringing technical improvements of the movement and synchronization system, in-game crafting, new weapons and skins, and much more! Give them a try and share your impressions.

Tickrate improvements

The speed of information exchange between the game client and the server (TickRate) in PvP matches has been significantly increased - up to 60 transmissions per second.

THE TICKRATE ON SERVERS HAS BEEN DOUBLED!

This is an important change that will improve the accuracy of character positioning in battle. After updating the motion registration system transition to a higher tickrate is a logical step that will increase users' comfort in the game and complete a long period of work aimed at improving the movement system.


New content

Crafting system

Crafting is a new reward system based on the simple principle of card exchange. While participating in various game activities, the player will receive cards and, upon collecting the necessary set, exchange them for cool weapons.
 
Now the crafting system features several previously announced weapon models; they are the assault rifle Cobalt Kinetics EDGE Rifle, the submachine gun Cobalt Kinetics Stealth Pistol, the sniper rifle Cobalt Kinetics Twenty-Seven and the shotgun Typhoon F12 Custom. In the future, the list will be expanded with other interesting weapon models and gear.

Boxes with cards for weapon crafting can be obtained as log-in rewards, by advancing between leagues in the new season of Ranked Matches, as well as for completing Special Operations: Cyber Horde (Hard), Anubis (Hard), Black Shark (Hard), Icebreaker (Hard), Blackout (Hard), Pripyat (Hard), Sunrise (Normal), Sunrise (Hard), Mars (Normal), Mars (Hard). Kel-Tec SUB2000

We are glad to present you a new secondary weapon which stands out among its peers thanks to its elegant looks and impressive specs. Thanks to an almost complete absence of spread, the Kel-Tec SUB2000 allows its owner to make accurate and deadly shots. The gun's advantages are offset by moderate rate of fire and semi-automatic shooting mode. The Kel-Tec SUB2000 is meant to become one of the most accurate secondary weapons, just like Taurus Judge invariably remains the benchmark for melee revolvers/pistols.

By killing 999 enemies with the golden weapon version, you will be able to get a unique stripe.

Sten MK IIS

The Sten MK IIS is a cool Rifleman primary that packs a superb punch. The weapon can boast an integrated silencer and two unique sights - a fast zoom front sight and a 2x scope. It will be up to you to choose at what distance to open fire since the gun will be equally effective at short and long ranges.

The owner of the golden Sten MK IIS can unlock a unique stripe by killing 999 enemies with this weapon.

"Medusa" series

A new weapon series, a smoke grenade and camos which became an excellent addition to the “Gorgon” series in the same-name Battle Pass. "Medusa" is designed in a style similar to that of "Gorgon": weapon frame elements as if oozing poison, fiery snakes and an image of a real Gorgon set in a cool color scheme that will become a perfect choice for those who opt for an elegant design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New skins

The skins of the female squad "Gorgon" and the Elite "Gorgon" squad skins with a one-off character animation are now available! Opponents will stand no chance against the deadly beauty of these operatives. For the first time in the game elite skins will slightly boost character stats!

Reworked special operation "Earth Shaker"

Traditionally, Special Operations have three difficulty levels in the game: "Easy", "Normal" and "Hard". “Earth Shaker” is one of our first Special Operations; so, historically, its settings differed from the rest. In this update, “Earth Shaker” has been redesigned to bring it to the common difficulty standards.
 
We have removed the “Nightmare” difficulty in order to totally rework the “Hard” level. Do not get upset by the absence of your favorite difficulty – now it will be even easier to earn unique rewards. The second tweak to the Special Operation is the rewards update. Now you have more chances to get permanent “Earth Shaker” helmets on any difficulty level.

New Ranked matches season

The new season starts today, on the 7th of May, at 12:00 UTC (14:00 CEST) and will last till 08:30 UTC (10:30 CEST) on the 27th of May. For the first time ever, by advancing between leagues, you will be earning cards or boxes with cards for certain weapon models. These cards can be exchanged in the crafting system. Do not miss the chance - start crafting the coveted weapons now!

"SED" Deactivation

In the framework of the current season we have removed SEDs from Ranked Matches. The project team decided to carry out this experiment to evaluate your reactions, gather feedback and forward results to the developers.

Other changes

Important

  • The final scene displayed after the match completion has been reworked: the victory poses and the background image have been changed.
  • Now you can take screenshots during the game again by pressing F12 (by default).
  • Now a player receives a different number of points after defusing a bomb (200 points instead of 400).
  • The themed version of the loading screen has been replaced by a regular one.
  • The festive map "Bedlam" has been disabled.

General

  • The achievements of the “Gorgon” series have been technically and visually reworked. Now the kill progress counts when two weapon series - “Medusa” and “Gorgon” - are employed.
  • SEDs can now call an Engineer for reactivation (F1 by default), by analogy with the action of other classes calling a Medic.
  • The looks of unique stripes received for kills made with the K.I.W.I. weapon series have been changed to improve readability.

  • АМ-17: the visual weapon model has been slightly reworked.

Bug fixes

General

  • Fixed numerous errors related to the visual display of female skins in different positions in the first or in the third person view.
  • Fixed an error due to which after respawn the player’s body unnaturally slipped to the spawn if the player was killed next to it.
  • Fixed an error due to which, in some cases, the progress of the achievement "White Magic" was not counted.
  • Fixed an error due to which the lenses of the “Gorgon” weapon sights were displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed an error due to which, in some cases, a human model was displayed in the section of articles for the SED in the game store.
  • Fixed an error due to which the character’s body after death flickered unnaturally right before disappearing if a skin was equipped.
  • Fixed an error due to which the camera in the spectator mode trembled if the observed subject was on a moving surface.
  • Fixed an error due to which the achievements "Pump It Up", "Advanced: Pump It Up" and "Taurus Gold " had incorrect descriptions.
  • Fixed an error due to which some meta-achievements had incorrect descriptions.
  • Fixed an error which, in some cases, caused an incorrect camera behaviour while climbing an obstacle.

Known bugs

  • Kel-Tec SUB2000: the actual bullet impact point does not coincide with the front sight.
  • АМ-17: kills made with the weapon do not count for the "Russian Punisher" achievement.
  • The Typhoon F12 Custom card icon is not as legible as icons of other cards.
