Versus Ranked Match

Versus Ranked Match

Overview

It is a competitive, seasonal gameplay mode in Warface. Every victory awards you 1 ranked point, while suffering a defeat or running away from combat will deduct 1 point from your score. Your total amount of points counts towards your competitive rank – starting from 21 (worst) and running up until 1 (best). Reaching every rank will grant you instant rewards, but the true spoils of war await those that manage to get to the top – every season has its unique rewards, which we always announce when the season starts.

  1. Season start/end counter
  2. Your current rank indicator
  3. Other ranks you can achieve by winning ranked matches
  4. Brief ranked matches rules – may change upon the start of a new season
  5. Press this button to start looking for a match – you can pre-invite friends too!

Seasons

Ranked matches are only held during seasons. Each has its own rewards, might offer special challenges, last for a specified amount of time and might change some of the rules established by the previous ones (the number of points required to attain a higher rank for example). It is impossible to play ranked matches in-between the seasons – use those intervals to train with your team to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Ranks

Ranked matches are all about ranks and points. Every victory in this mode awards you with 1 ranked point, while suffering a defeat or running away from combat will deduct 1 point from your score. Your total amount of points counts towards your competitive rank – starting from 21 (worst) and running up until 1 (best). The amount of points required to attain a new rank might vary from season to season – make sure to always read the news announcing a new season start. You can check the amount of points you need to advance to the next rank by looking at the number of bars on the Ranked Matches screen:

Each dash represents 1 won match.

Inviting friends

While your points count towards your individual rank, you can still play with friends by simply pre-inviting them to a match, as you would normally do with any other game mode in Warface.

Rejoining a match

In case you encounter connectivity issues and get disconnected from a running ranked match, you will be able to rejoin by accepting an invitation once you re-launch Warface. This invitation is only valid for 3 minutes, so don't stall for too long!

Showing off your rank

Your rank is visible to anyone looking at your Warface profile while in game – as long as you have taken part in at least one ranked match. To check other players' ranks, simply click their nicknames while waiting for a match in any lobby:
