The winter update is already live! It brings lots of festive content and long-awaited technical improvements: a reworked pocket system, heaps of new weapons, "Xmas Hangar" as well as other interesting changes. Feel the heat of winter combats in Warface!

New Weapons
AN-94 "Abakan"
In the game, the rifle fires two bullets in a semi-automatic firing mode. The weapon specs are perfectly balanced: excellent damage and rate of fire, good aiming range and the availability of a unique grip that reduces spread and increases the arm reloading speed. Details.
The owner of the golden AN-94 "Abakan" will be able to get a unique stripe for eliminating 999 opponents.
Karambit
This long-awaited novelty is a unique knife with a curved blade sharpened on the inside. In the game, the knife resembling a tiger's claw has a unique animation and offers excellent characteristics on par with the already familiar melee models. The Karambit is available in two versions - the golden and the regular ones. The former is distinguished by slightly improved specs that will come in handy in close combat. In addition, the Karambit can be equipped with several exclusive skins. A box with camos will appear in the game later. Details.

Benelli M4 Custom
In the game, this arm offers a semi-automatic firing mode. Anyone armed with a Benelli M4 Custom is capable of easily eliminating any opponent with one single shot. In addition, depending on the tactical situation, the gun can be easily modified with a unique suppressor and a fast 1,3x zoom sight. Details.
The owner of the golden Benelli M4 Custom will be able to get a unique stripe for eliminating 999 opponents.
PP-19-01 "Vityaz"
In the game, the new gun sports controlled recoil, excellent damage and good rate of fire. Moreover, it can be equipped with a unique silencer that does not reduce damage. In some respects, the PP-19-01 "Vityaz" outperforms the AMB-17, but its advantages are offset by a slightly reduced hip-fire accuracy, as well as a smaller magazine and ammo. Details.
The owner of the golden PP-19-01 "Vityaz" will be able to get a unique stripe for eliminating 999 opponents.
"Snow Leopard" Series
A special winter series "Snow Leopard" has been designed for the best fighters who regularly get breathtaking victories and passionately eliminate competitors in the struggle for the top positions in the leagues. The weapon frames of the new series are decorated with an image of a large cat and an imitation of scars left by its claws which remind the enemy about sharp blades hid in the soft yet mighty paws. These beasts of weapons will suit the most bloodthirsty shooters!
Christmas Content
Xmas Hangar
Is this what you expected? We have updated the Christmas version of one of the most popular maps in the game. Snowball shootouts or Candy Knife battles will provide the right kind of a festive vibe. The Hangar is a great place to enjoy the usual dynamic gameplay and misbehave a bit.
Your task is invariably simple: destroy as many opponents as possible using any available means. Hide a mine behind a nice gift, make your enemies really happy with the surprise! But be on the alert - watch out and look under your feet. Rumor has it that iced containers are very slippery. In addition, upon completing a match on this map, you will see a festive background on the statistics screen decorated with gifts and a Christmas tree.
Naturally, wins on this map will be rewarded with special achievements. Collect the festive set and decorate your profile!
"Glacier" Series
There can be no celebrations without cool arms. Warface now offers a festive weapon series "Glacier", which you can earn right now in a special event. The guns boast original looks and a colourful frosty animation. Beware, the arms are ice-cold, do not forget to put on gloves!
Killing blows made with these weapons will grant you sleek achievements!
Festive Weapon Charm
You've probably noticed many little ducklings in various locations in Warface. And this is not for nothing! Ducks are cute little Easter eggs in the game. And now one of them is now available among the weapon charms. By mounting it on a gun, you will receive +100 to the holiday mood and +100 to luck in battles.
You can mount the accessories on the guns from the list below. As new sets appear, it will be replenished with more arms. Moreover, each new set can be installed on the weapons from the previous list.

Festive Achievements
A special set of achievements awaits true fans of Warface and winter holidays lovers. These distinctions will help you keep the memory of cool events for a long time. We will tell you how to get the entire coat of arms later, stay tuned.
Festive Safe House
Not only game maps are now filled with Christmas spirit. A very important place for every soldier - the Safe House - has also changed for the winter holidays. Christmas wreaths, gift boxes, festive decorations, snowballs, fairy lights, a snowman and even reindeer images have been added to its decor.
In-game Improvements
Reworked Pockets
Now you can take two smoke grenades into battle instead of just one. The implementation is simple: now the player will be able to customize two support slots (the former "Smoke grenade" and "Flashbang grenade"). The total number of slots has not changed and remained the same, the customization possibility has been added only to the "Support" pockets. Thus, this will allow you to choose which set of additional grenades is more important in combat - a flashbang and a smoke grenade or two smoke grenades.
In addition, some visual changes have been made to the equipped item information panel that is displayed in a match. Now the number of consumables is shown on the center panel, and not on the side panel as it used to be.
"Delete all" button
A long-awaited and very necessary button is already activated in the notification box. Now you can forget about the routine manual deleting of notifications - pressing one button will quickly save you from unnecessary spam. Please note: notifications with a choice option (for example, clan invitations or friend requests) cannot be deleted using this button.
Updated Metrics
The server TickRate measurement units have been changed (from milliseconds to hertz). Previously, with a server value of 60 Hz, the client displayed 16.6 ms - these are correct and equivalent indicators. The value of 16.6 ms comes from the formula: 1000 ms / 60 Hz, it reflects information on the data exchange speed between the server and the game client. The user ultimately saw this value on his/her screen. It attracted attention and was interpreted ambiguously, so now the measurement units upon switching to hertz will become more understandable and obvious for each player.
Automatic DirectX 11 Support Detection
Now the Game Center automatically detects DirectX 11 support when the game client starts. If your PC supports this function, the client will be launched with the specified setting. Otherwise, the client will start with DirectX 9 support. We remind you that you can also change it manually in the game settings in the Game Center.

Exchange rate tweaks in the crafting system
The prices in the crafting system have been changed. The exchange of extra cards for free ones for the in-game currencies is now cheaper: 7500 Warface Dollars and 75 Crowns; and you will need to spend 5 cards less to get a free card free of charge.

Improved calculation of the aimed fire direction. Now watching other players shooting, the user will be able to see the correct trajectory. It will coincide with the direction on the server - this will reduce the number of visual errors related to incorrect shooting display.

The Christmas versions of the maps "Xmas Icebound", "Residence Xmas", "Phantom Zone" and "Xmas Oil Depot" are back in the rotation.

Added themed "Special" class items.
In the upcoming days, new beginner class-specific kits will be added to the in-game store. They contain only the most useful items: armor pieces and primary weapons. Upon equipping a fighter with all the items from the class-specific kit, the player will get the total bonus of the "Salamander" gear set. Moreover, some of the guns from this set have been improved. The weapons with improved specs will offer even more exciting gameplay! Read on to learn more details about the changes.

There has been an exchange of rewards for completing the first and the second daily missions in the Battle Pass. Previously, the task "Kill 75 enemies in any mode" yielded 4 stars, while "Deal 10,000 damage in any mode" - 5 stars. Now the player will receive 5 stars for the first task, and 4 for the second one. The total number of rewards has not changed.
