Solving Common Network Problems
Friends!
In this article, we’ll look at the issues players most often face, both network-related and otherwise, offer practical ways to resolve them, and outline what information your report should contain and why it’s important.
Crashes in Ranked Matches & PvP
Sometimes, everything seems normal when you enter a match: the loading begins, the list of players appears, and everything looks as it should. But before the game fully loads, the client freezes, briefly shows the loading screen again, and then sends you back to the main menu.
As a result, you receive a penalty for leaving a Ranked Match or an event’s PvP mode, even though your connection tests look clean and PvE runs perfectly. In most cases, this happens because the game is unable to establish a proper connection to a Dedicated Server, which is responsible for hosting the match.
This failure can be caused by factors such as your connection type (Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, ADSL, mobile data), but it can also be due to the issues on the Dedicated Server. If you’re using a fiber connection, a stable wired LAN setup, and the issue still persists, your next step is to collect diagnostic logs (MY.GAMES Launcher —> Library —> Warface: Clutch —> Click the arrow next to the Play button —> Collect diagnostic data). After the archive is generated (xxxxxxxx_xxxx.tar), send it either to technical support or to any community manager on Discord.

Ping Issues
High or unstable ping is one of the most common complaints in any online game. There are many reasons why ping can spike or fluctuate during a match, and in this article, we’ll cover the main ones.
- The in-game ping display isn’t always accurate. Instead of relying on the number shown in the client, it’s better to monitor the Packet Latency parameter, which can be enabled in the settings. During a match, the displayed ping may sometimes be incorrect for various reasons. Before submitting a report, make sure the issue is actually affecting the gameplay.
- Why one game is stable while Warface: Clutch isn’t. Each game’s servers are hosted in different data centers, and your provider may route traffic differently to each one. Stable ping in another game does not guarantee the same stability in Warface: Clutch.
Focus primarily on how your character behaves in-game rather than the raw ping numbers shown in the client. If you notice desynchronization, teleporting, or other signs of high ping, immediately collect diagnostic data in MY.GAMES Launcher and contact your provider if the latency spikes at any point along your route.
If the spike occurs specifically at the last segment leading to the game server, it’s time to reach out to the game’s technical support. Including a video recording that demonstrates the problem will also help the specialists diagnose the issue more effectively.
Warface: Clutch has stopped working

The main challenge with crashes is that identifying the root cause can be tricky. They often happen because of issues such as:
- outdated or incompatible graphics card drivers,
- graphics card overheating, being old, or improperly installed,
- insufficient RAM, inadequate Windows page file, or low free space on the drive where Warface: Clutch is installed,
- and a variety of other potential system factors.
The cause for the “Warface: Clutch has stopped working” error can differ from player to player. This is why we strongly recommend always clicking the “Send report” button whenever a crash occurs. This gives the developers the information they need to track and resolve the problem faster.
Connection to server lost
This type of error can stem from issues on the game servers, but in most cases it originates on the player’s side, and the reasons vary widely. For example:
- Unstable internet connection: Warface: Clutch is designed to run reliably only with a fiber-optic connection using a wired LAN cable. Other types of connections, including Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, ADSL, or mobile data, can still be used, but stability and consistent access to the servers are not guaranteed. If you frequently experience the problems described here and you are not connected via LAN, the only solution is to switch to a wired fiber-optic setup. No alternative fixes are currently available.
- Restrictions for violating the EULA: In some cases, players may not receive an email notification, and no message about the ban may appear when launching the game. Regardless, the restrictions remain in effect, and there is nothing you can do to lift them.
- Regional network filters: In some cases, local internet providers may apply extra traffic filtering that interferes with the connection between your PC and the game servers. The developers have no control over these regional restrictions, so the only option is to wait until the provider removes or adjusts the filtering.

In short, most connectivity-related crashes are linked to the type of network you’re using or external filtering beyond the game’s control, and resolving them often requires adjustments on the player’s side.
